Yes, I feel your pain
I’ve been holding a camera as my main source of income for the last 17 years, and somewhere along the way I became known as the girl who makes everyone look amazing. Honestly, one of my favorite things is hearing someone say, “Three different people told me I had to call you.” That never gets old.
What sets me apart? Anyone can take a photo. People hire me for how they feel in front of my camera, and long after. I also share what I’ve learned from years of trial and error in my own business, so you can skip years of headaches. I’m all about giving more (maybe a little too much), but that’s what makes me happy.
I guess I should introduce myself.
I'm kind of a 1/2 city girl, 1/2 country girl
and I believe people connect with authenticity more than perfection.
Even in my own photos, I don’t heavily edit myself because I want you to meet me in real life and immediately know it’s actually me. Wrinkles, imperfections, a fun personality and all.
What I hear most from clients is that they can tell I genuinely care, which makes me do a little happy dance every time because I really do. Your shoot shouldn’t feel stiff or overly posed. I want it to feel natural, fun, and confidence-boosting.
I’m also a tiny bit of a perfectionist. Not in a scary way. More in a “fixing your necklace strand and rotating your shoulder two inches because I notice everything” kind of way.
And while AI can make everyone look polished these days, it can also strip away the thing people actually connect with… you. With the right guidance and a little more effort, you can show up confidently, look incredible, and still feel authentic instead of looking like an AI-generated version of yourself.
Because the goal isn’t just pretty content. It’s creating visuals that feel like the best version of you and what you’re so good at.
